Vendor Management & Support

This Wedding Planning Workbook takes you through the order in which you should book your vendors by importance. Be aware that vendor’s dates book up fast and you want to get them locked in as soon as you can! Items on the "First to Book" list include your venue, catering, and photographer!

From there, if you have started booking your vendors, you may be wondering what is next. LPC provides a fill in the blank vendor contact chart which is a great way to keep track of the POC (Point of Contact) of each vendor you book, making it quick and easy you should you need to send them an email, give them a call, or tag them on Instagram!

Questions to Ask Your Vendors

While we have planned hundreds of weddings, this might be your first. We know that reaching out to vendors who you do not know can feel daunting. We have provided a list of key questions to ask when you are on intake or consultation calls with each vendor. These questions will help you get a better feel for who they are, how their pricing structure works, and what you might be able to expect during the planning process.

Customizable Wedding Timeline

Once you send out Save The Dates or invitations, we guarantee the first question you are going to get from your friends and family is “When do I need to be there?” So, we have set you up for success with a high level timeline example and a blank chart for you to fill in with your personalized timeline and order of your day!

Throughout the book you will receive Pro Tips from Loni - so be sure to be on the lookout for those!

Your Wedding Must Have's

One of the most important things we ask our potential clients on intake calls is “What are your Top 5 Must Haves?” Items we hear often include:

  • The food served

  • A special song to be played

  • ‘I just want my guests to have a GREAT time’

Talking about this with your partner will help keep you both on track, build boundaries, and if something comes up that you want to adjust your budget for, you have this list to consult to make sure it is either worth or not worth spending money on.

Organized Budget Support

Weddings are a luxury regardless of your budget. Making sure you talk to your partner and family about what everyone feels comfortable with can be an uncomfy, but necessary, conversation. We provide a sample template for you to fill in what each vendor and wedding item costs.

Reminder, the budget sample we provide is a simple version - feel free to expand with other categories that might pop up!

Order of Operations

It’s wedding day - how the heck do we all get down the aisle?! What do we even say in our ceremony?! No worries, we’ve got you! Our Wedding Planning Workbook provides a sample order of operations for the processional and recessional as well sample ceremony order. Remember, these are the most common folks included in a wedding processional. Feel free to add or subtract based on your wedding parties!

Sample Photography Shotlist

When thinking about your day being captured, providing the photographer with a shotlist helps make the process go quickly and that we don’t miss that special grouping of friends from college or your grandparents!

Music Selection Suggestions

The Wedding Planning Workbook also takes you through the music selections that need to be made for your wedding day from ceremony to reception - and the reminder to make a Do Not Play List for your DJ!

Seating Chart Tips

We know families can be challenging at times and trying to figure out where to seat everyone can be stressful! We suggest starting with who you know you want seated together and then you can fill in the gaps with your rowdy Aunts and Uncles!

Planning Checklist

We are huge fans of checklists! We have provided a cute little template for you to fill in the blanks as to what things are next on the to-do list. There is just something about crossing an item off your checklist that is so satisfying!! Don’t you agree??

Decor & Design Theme Ideas

When looking to the internet for your wedding design inspiration, we encourage you to start a Pinterest board, add photos to a Google Drive, save posts on Instagram, etc. but find a place to put everything together in one place! Canva is a great tool for compiling all your ideas in one place and play around with colors and textures!

Once you are done with your saving frenzy, take a look at everything you pinned and heart’d and you will start to see a trend! This is most likely what you are most drawn to when you are scrolling and where you can start to build your wedding day mood board!
